Trust Alliance Group welcomed over 250 primary school children through their Daresbury office doors this week, treating them all to a special festive experience they’ll never forget ahead of the Christmas holidays.

Children and teachers from Windmill Hill, The Brow, Castleview, Gorsewood, Brookvale, Murdishaw, and St Martins schools, all from the Halton area, made the trip to the office during the last week. While there, the children got the chance to meet Santa in his grotto as well as getting involved in a variety of Christmas activities, including face painting, Christmas bingo, creating festive biscuits and drawing.

Several colleagues got the chance to get involved in the festivities and swapped their normal business attire for some festive fancy dress.

Simon Thornton, Senior Leader for Legitimacy at Trust Alliance Group, said: “This week has been enjoyable and rewarding in so many ways, not just for the children but for colleagues who were able to put a smile on many faces. All the schools that attended were fantastic and really enjoyed their visit to our grotto.

“Activities like this show our strengthened commitment to local communities in the area and the support we offer throughout the year, which includes staff visits to help with projects, opening up our doors to host groups and events, much-needed donations and more.”

Gill Gleave, Business Manager at Windmill Hill Primary School, said: “We were so grateful to be invited by Trust Alliance Group to join their community Christmas activities. The children were so excited to join in the festive fun, and meeting Santa made it all the more special. The event was fantastic and the dedication of the staff to make a difference to our children was amazing.”

Hosting local primary schools at Christmas is just one of many community projects that Trust Alliance Group gets involved with throughout the year, alongside volunteer work with Camp Project Wales, Mersey Forest, Warrington Foodbank, Halton Women’s Centre, Cares Family Club and more.
