EO NEA Conference 2026

Energy Ombudsman attended National Energy Action’s (NEA) Annual Conference and Exhibition in Gateshead, with Liz Pritchard, TAG’s Senior Leader for Social Impact and Sustainability, representing the organisation.

The event brought together policymakers, sector leaders and frontline organisations committed to tackling fuel poverty and improving outcomes for energy consumers. It provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships, share insight and explore collaborative approaches to some of the most pressing challenges facing the sector.

There was clear acknowledgment across the board that more must be done to improve consumer confidence in the energy market, an issue central to Energy Ombudsman’s role in delivering fair and independent dispute resolution.

Liz Pritchard, Senior Leader for Social Impact and Sustainability at Energy Ombudsman commented “It was great to hear the minister openly welcoming challenge from NEA and others, as well as constructive ideas on how we can all do better. There was a shared recognition that we need to improve consumer confidence across the board.”

The conference also showcased the breadth and impact of NEA’s work to end fuel poverty, as well as the strength of its partnerships across the sector. Energy Ombudsman values the opportunity to build on its relationship with NEA and to explore how both organisations can continue working together towards the shared goal of improving outcomes for consumers.
