Customers of Iresa, which went out of business last week, have been taken on by Octopus Energy as of 1 August 2018.

Octopus Energy has said it will honour all outstanding credit balances, including money owed to both current and past Iresa customers. For more information on this, see the links below.

Regulator Ofgem is advising former Iresa customers to “sit tight” and wait to be contacted by Octopus Energy. We would echo this advice.

Octopus Energy is offering former Iresa customers its Flexible Octopus tariff, which Ofgem describes as “one of the most competitive tariffs on the market.” See the below links for more advice and answers from Ofgem, along with a statement from Octopus Energy.

If you are a consumer who has already registered a complaint about Iresa with us, please be aware that we are in the process of reviewing your case and will be in touch in due course with more information on next steps.

At Trust Alliance Group we recognise that the collapse of an energy supplier can be a difficult, uncertain and stressful experience for consumers. We appreciate your patience in this matter and will publish a further update as soon as possible.
